Happy Birthday Celebration

Happy Birthday.... Buddy! Well gather around good friends and have ablast for you're 16th.!
Brett and Will came down from the big "A-town" for TY's Birthday. He was soooo surprised, he was "speechless"!! We spent Saturday at Disney....they rode Everest Animal Kingdom, and Mission Space at Epcot. Space Mountain at the Magic Kingdom was closed down for the whole day!!!! We stayed for the light show at Epcot, even though it rained the whole time.
You know it doesn't seem like yesterday since he was born but, it doesn't seem like 16 years! He's a great kid with a good heart! He is having a hard time adjusting to the Public school life, and feeling like he does not belong. I keep telling him God has a plan for him ( and even us) that's why he brought us all the way down here. He just smiles as he ponders this thought.
I now he really misses his friends and is having a hard time making new one's as anyone would. He misses his school, and most of all our church. Matt his youth minister is a great guy and has had a big influence on his life. I pray he holds strong.
Happy Birthdya, Buddy!
love Ya'

Hom Again Home again "not" a gig a dee gig!

Well it has been a while I know.... Ty and I had to fly home not long ago because "Chief" was not doing well and Not expected to live. I rushed home to find him so frail! He is doing better than expected however, he is not expected to be here much longer! He is at peace and so is Mother. They seem to know their salvation and are not afraid of what is to come which gives me peace. Ty was able to get his teeth finished before school got started down here. Gosh!!!!! He looks so good. He is even smiling! Which is great to see again! He started school and is doing well for the first week! Jeff has been working allot lately and is liking what he is doing! Thank God! Ty has some friends coming down this weekend to surprise him for his 16Th Birthday! He has no!!! idea they are coming. He just thinks that we are going to Disney just the of us. lol I cannot wait to see his face when they walk through the door!!!!!! He really misses his friends from Ga. It has been hard on him not being able to go to Church on Wednesdays and hang with the gang and hear Matt speak about what God has in plans for him! I really hope all are well. Hanging 10 at the beach!

Another rainy day in coastal Fla.

Well we tried to spend a few hours with Jeff today at the beach but, right after we got there we had to "bug out". The lightening and rain the came on really quick! We are still trying to adjust to the way of life out here....... Ty starts his job at the local Publix next week. He is excited to be able to earn a little cash again. He is wanting to rent then buy a surf board. Go figure!!! lol

We are still loving it here, however the issue is how expensive it is to live here in Fla., not just on the coast. Our car insurance will triple because we live in what is considered South Fla. but, rental insurance is nothing!!!!! Which I thought would be the opposite! Groceries are much higher than in the Atlanta area. But, hey who can complain when I can be at the beach in under 5 Min's.

Ty got registered for school. They start Aug. 20th. He will be in the 11th grade. Man............. just to think he was a little "chipmunk checked " kid the last time we lived in Fla. Now, he is soooo stink'n tall! Not to mention cute.
We come to the big "A" town the first of August for Ty's appointment to have his teeth finished. Man, they look so good. I am so happy for him!

That's all for now...

The BIG Move

Well we really did it this time. The BIG move has happened and we are now living in Cape Cananveral Florida. It is really nice but, trying to find a place to live was not the greatest thing. We are living in a townhouse that is really cool, it has a back yard for the dogs and only a 1/4 mile from the beach.

We are at the beac almost everyday. Ty has been able to transfer to the Publix up the street and I am looking. Jeff has started his dedicated route with the Fed. Ex. terminal here in Orlando. He thinks he is living a dream!

God has truly blessed us!!! This whole thing with staying with Jeff's company and moving down here has been difficult at times but, we have come t really see that it is ALL in God's plan. We have a Lease to purchase contract on our house in Woodstock. We have hated leaving good friens and our Church but, we know God has some really good things in store for us.

Paris in the Spring

Ty and I

June and waiting on the "call"

Well it is Sunday. Jeff and Ty are at the ball park and we have finished a weekend at a Baseball Tournament here in Ga.

We are still awaiting the "call" from Jeff's company so that we can go on w/ our lives. I really hate this "hurry up and wait" mode we seem to be in. Like a water spout, going around and around just waiting for the right time and place to "DROP"! As Jeff seems to put it so eloquently " Rob, you just hate not being in control", and once I stepped back and really thought about what he said............. It is when I come to the conclusion that I, am not in control. That God, alone is in control, He just lets us think we are. Kind of like taking flying lessons. Where there is a control for the student, and there are the main controls for the "Pilot". God is the pilot, and He has His hands on the wheel and say's ever so gently "I've got it".
